Of course, now that I've finished The Everyday Catholic's Guide to the Liturgy of the Hours comes the tricky bit: actually to pray the Liturgy of the Hours & to do so routinely, to no longer makes excuses.
I'm thirty-some pages into How the Reformation Happened & so far so good. As Belloc wrote, "It was all peril, all conflict, & all recurring imminence of disaster," but as a book it's going well. We are now in that part of the account set in the decades before "The Flood," before 1517, the fifth centenary of which occasions our reading of the book in this Anno domini 2017.
